Nutmeg

Nutmeg is the grounded seeds of Myristica fragrans tree, which is native to Indonesia but now growing in many parts of the tropics. It gives its characteristic flavor to many dishes.
Nutmeg has been used in Ayurvedic (traditional Indian), traditional Chinese, and traditional Thai medicines due to its strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Nutmeg contains number of antioxidants so it has multiple health benefits. It is shown to beneficial in controlling high blood pressure. Nutmeg oil applied over the joints reduces pain.
